Booking Terms

Booking agreement terms

  1. Securing a booking: Bookings are not secured until the deposit has been paid. Until the deposit has been received, bookings are not confirmed and may be cancelled.
  2. Payment schedule: After the deposit is paid, the outstanding fee due to the Artist should be paid no later than 30 days after the event has taken place.
  3. Cancellations: The Client may cancel a booking. If the deposit has been paid, the following terms will apply:
  1. If the Client cancels a booking more than 8 weeks before the scheduled event, the Client is eligible to receive a full refund of the deposit paid.
  2. If the Client cancels a booking between 8 weeks and 4 weeks before the scheduled event, the Artist retains the discretion to refund a proportion of the deposit to the Client, considering the circumstances.
  3. If the Client cancels a booking less than 4 weeks before the scheduled event, the deposit is non-refundable and the Client is not eligible to receive any refund.
  1. Force Majeure: In the case of a “Force Majeure” event where either the Artist or the Client, for a reason outside of their control, are not able to fulfil the booking (e.g., war, fire, death, serious illness, epidemic, accident, civil commotion, national calamity, etc.) which are not attributable to any act of failure to take preventative action by the Artist or the Client, then the Artist or the Client may cancel this booking without penalty.
  2. Public Liability Insurance: Upon request, the Artist can provide a Public Liability Certificate of Insurance.
  3. Recordings: Any videos taken at the event will be gratefully received by the Artist. Also, tagging @bongolizzie in any social media posts from the event would be appreciated.
  4. Performance area: The Artist requires a performance area of 2x2m.
  5. Access: The Client will provide reasonable access from the Artist’s parking area to the performance area to facilitate loading in and loading out of instruments. Event attendees should stand clear from the access pathway.
